Delegates at Central State Formation Conference to Debate Draft Charter

The delegates attending Central State formation conference in Adado is due to debate the draft charter for the upcoming federal unit of Somalia.

Elder Sultan Abdulaziz Omar has told Goobjoog FM preparations are well footed; he also called for calm during the session.

The previous session has sparked controversy after sections of the draft charter were omitted.

There are some 350 delegates attending the conference and their main task is to adopt the charter, then the conference would proceed to select MPs who would then elect president.
