30 Al-Shabaab Militants Killed in Joint Operation in Middle Juba

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MIDLE JUBA: At least 30 Al-Shabaab militants were killed Saturday morning following a joint operation between the Somali National Army and international forces.

Sources said the operation in Jilib-Marka also killed the commanders of the militant group. The allied forces also seized ammunition during the operation, military sources said.

Jilib remains as one of the strongholds of Al-Shabaab, located in the Middle Juba region

Separately in Mudug region, the allied forces conducted another operation in Farah-Adan in Harardhere district of Mudug region. An unconfirmed number of militants were also killed.
