Ahlu-Sunna set up a new parliament in Dhusamareb, Galmudug region

Ahlu-Sunah group announced a new parliament in the capital Galmudug of Dhusamareb, this move comes after the federal government and AhluSunah breakout conflict over the formation of Galmudug presidential election.

Ahlu-Sunah officials announced 69 lawmakers on late Tuesday adding to the current 20 members forwarded by Alu-Sunah to the National Galmudug electoral committee. Ahlu-Sunah new parliament elected acting chairman who will lead the new parliament for Ahlu-Sunah.

Ahlu-Sunna has also set up a presidential electoral committee, which has registered presidential and vice-presidential candidates, following a dispute with the federal government.

The situation of Galmudug appears controversial with two administrations underway, while Galmudug President Ahmed Duale Geelle Haf constructing his own administration in Galkayo.
