Armed assailants kill three civilians in Abudwaq

GOOBJOOG NEWS|GALGADUD: Armed assailants killed three people in Abudwaq, Galgadud region on Friday night, officials have said but the circumstances surrounding the killings remain unclear.

Abudwaq district commissioner Abdirahman Gacaltooyo told Goobjoog News that the killing happened between Huurshe and Hogdugaag areas in Abudwaq and that the suspects have been arrested.

He added that those who were killed were from Adado district and were nomads.

Killings have been reported in the same areas in recent weeks.
