China Railway Group to help develop Somalia’s infrastructure

GOOBJOOG NEWS | BEIJING: The China Railway Group has promised to help in building the capacity and enhancing knowledge of the Somali workers in infrastructure development.

While attending the the “Diplomats’ Tours of State-owned Enterprises” session organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Somalia’s ambassador to China Awale Ali Kullane highlighted China’s progress in railway infrastructure and expressed hope that CREC will assist in Somalia’s development journey.

The session focused on China Railway Group Limited’s (CREC) development initiatives, innovation, and international cooperation efforts where CREC officials discussed their commitment to high-quality development, innovation, and environmental protection.

The diplomats then toured the CREC Exhibition Hall, where they learned about the corporation’s achievements and future plans.

The event served as a platform for fostering diplomatic relations and promoting mutual understanding between Somalia and China.

Ambassador Kullane expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China for the warm reception and valuable insights gained during the tour.
