Construction of Barawe Airport to kick off

The administration of Barawe district has detailed about construction plans of airport in designated administrative capital of South-west state, Barawe.
Bashir Mohamed Yussuf, the acting Barawe district commissioner told Goobjoog News that the construction of the airport will kick off at end of July this year.
“At the end this month, the construction of Barawe airport, according to the government, we are expecting to start it as soon as possible” he said.
He added that the constructions to beautify the town are underway and people pouring into the town.
The Interim South-West State is the second newest functional state in Somalia in line with the federalisation process as contemplated in the New Deal and Vision 2016.
