Danab commandos continue operation in Galgaduud

GOOBJOOG NEWS | GALGADUUD: The Danaab commandoes have continued their military operation against the Al-Shabaab militants in Budbud area of Galgaduud region.

The areas, which include Hintumal and water wells located in forests in the area had been inhabited by the militants before they were driven away by the country’s forces and operations to completely liberate the region are ongoing.

According to the commander of the Danab commandos Abdullahi Mustafa Ali, remnants of the Al-shabaab militants and some of their leaders are still hiding in Elbur district where the Somali armed forces are focusing their operations to flush them out.
