GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Somali Health Minister Ali Haji Aden received on Thursday at the Aden-Adde International Airport medicine and doctors sent by the Ethiopian government to aid in the treatment of the October 29 terror attack victims.

The health minister was flanked by government officials, including NISA chief Mahad Salad and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ali Omar, at the handover ceremony.

The response by the Ethiopian government follows a request by Somalia to its brotherly nations to send in medicine and doctors to help in treating the victims, some of whom have life-threatening injuries requiring highly skilled intervention.

Ethiopia becomes the third country after Djibouti and Turkey to join the ongoing emergency response to the victims of the Zoobe attack.
