Ethiopia to deploy 950 soldiers in Kismayo
Senior Ethiopian Military officials from the country’s Defence ministry have reached Kismayu, the administrative capital of Jubbaland administration on Sunday.
The delegates were highly welcomed by IJA leaders at Kismayo airport.
The two sides later held discussions over security matters. The Ethiopian delegation also held talks with other AMISOM officials in Kismayu.

This comes at a time emerging reports say bordering state of Ethiopia is planning to deploy 950 soldiers in the port town of Kismaayo soon to fight Al-shabab and serve under the African Union peace keeping mandate in Somalia.
Senior Somali military commander who declined his name told Goobjoog that the new Ethiopian troops have been set to join AU mission in the region.
The AU troops in Somali including Ethiopian soldiers removed Al-shabaab out of Mogadishu and other key districts in Southern Somali regions.
