Factions in political dispute appoint mediation teams

The two warring factions in the ongoing political dispute in the country have agreed to mediation with each side tasked to select a team of seven MPs to lead the talks.

Goobjoog News has established the Speaker Mohamed Jawari faction has appointed former Presidential candidate Abdikadir Osoble, former intelligence chief Ahmed Fiqi and Hassan Yare. Others are Mohamud Benebene, Abdifitah Ismail and Fawsiyo Mohamed Sheikh. The identity of the last MP is yet to be known.

There were no immediate details from the side allied to Prime Minister Hassan Khaire. The time frame and modalities of the mediation have also not been made public.
