Farmaajo’s top spy Yasin Farey cleared by polls arbiter as duly elected

GOOBJOOG NEWS|DHUSAMAREB: The Dispute Resolution Committee has cleared acting NISA boss as duly elected MP for Galmudug state dealing a blow to sections of the clan which had contested his election.

The committee issued its verdict today after about two weeks of deliberation. Yarey who had been linked to the controversial disappearance of former female spy agent Ikran Farah won in seat 67 sparking sharp criticism from members of the clan where the seat was up for election.

Today’s ruling is the second major one involving key allies of outgoing president Mohamed Farmaajo. The committee okayed the election of Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Guled last month for one of the seats allocated to Somaliland clans.
