Federal government appoints a committee of ministers to solve the tension between Puntland and Galmudug

Prime minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed in a press statement urged Puntland and Galmudug administrations to end their difference through peaceful discussion and refrain from anything that might incite clashes in the region.

PM Abdiweli stated that he will appoint a committee of ministers to solve the discord between the two administrations in the region.

The prime minister confirmed that he contacted both sides and called them to think deeply and end the grievances caused by Airport disputes.

Mr. Abdiweli welcomed what he called emerging understand for ceasing tensions in the regions between Galmudug And Puntland .

His statement also included

1. To avoid from anything that might escalate the tensions in the region
2. to without condition allow the normal flights of Galkayo
3. To immediately start discussions to end the airport arguments
