Federal MP Botan Aalin passes on in India

Federal Parliament lawmaker Botan Isse Aalin has passed on in an Indian hospital where he has been undergoing treatment, the family has said.

The family of the deceased lawmaker told Goobjoog News the lawmaker passed on after a long illness.

The lawmaker was elected from Galmudug state region. He was one time a minister in the interim government of Abdullahi Yusuf that was instituted in Mbagathi centre in Nairobi, Kenya.

Aalin served in the National Army where he participated in the 1977 war against Ethiopia.
