Federal MP Mohamud Mohamed Boonow is dead

GOOBJOOG NEWS|BAIDOA: Federal MP Mohamud Mohamed Boonow has died this morning in Baidoa, the capital of South West state.

The circumstances surrounding the lawmaker’s death were not immediately clear. Boonoow was first elected to parliament in 2012 and has since then been serving in the same capacity.

Before joining elective politics, Bonoow served as constitutional affairs and reconciliation minister in 2010 when current president Mohamed Farmaajo was prime minister.
