FIET approves two previously suspended seats

GOOBJOOG NEWS/BAIDOA: The Federal Election Implementation Team has approved HOP204 and HOP103 seats in the South West state following talks in Baidoa with South West State leader, Abdiaziz Lafta-Gareen.

The Federal Electoral Body has also resolved for a re-election of the HOP154 seat which was won by Sareedo Mohamed Abdalla.

The election of the three seats was declared ‘null and void’ by the Federal polls body in March due to complaints from their some subclans.

South West lawmakers are today expected to head to the swearing-in ceremony after receiving their parliamentary certificates, following successful talks with FIET officials led by Chairman Muse Guelleh.
