FIET releases Lower House poll schedule

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: The Federal Elections Implementation Team (FIET) has released a revised version of the 2020/2021 Senate and Lower House elections.

The FIET schedule states that elections for 275 MPs will run from October 1-November 20. Senate elections are expected to resume from September 5 and conclude on September 18. Only HirShabelle and Somaliland caucus are yet to kick off senate elections.
