FIFA president sends congratulatory message to the new Somali FA Boss
The President of the world’s football governing body (FIFA) Mr. Joseph S Blatter has sent a letter of goodwill and congratulations to the newly-elected president of Somali Football Federation Mr.Abdiqani Said Arab.
“I would like to extend my sincerest congratulations and best wishes of success on the occasion of your election as the new president of Somali Football federation” FIFA president said in his letter sent to the Somali Football Federation and copied to CAF and CECAFA on Monday.
“Your knowledge, experience and personal qualities will certainly have an important impact on the stable development of our beautiful game in your country. You can rely on my personal support and FIFA’s assistance in order to reach this goal: The doors of the FIFA Home are open whenever you wish to discuss any relevant issues concerning the game and its governance” the world football Boss Mr. Joseph S Blatter emphasized in his letter.
“I wish good luck, strength and every success for this new role and look forward to meeting you soon” President Blatter said in his congratulatory message.
Earlier in the day, the FIFA president said in a post on his twitter that it was a great step forward to see plans to develop women’s football in Somalia.
