Former Minister of Women’s Affairs Hands Over Office.

A well organized handing over ceremony was on Thursday held in Mogadishu which was attended by Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid and some of his cabinet ministers.
The former minister for Women’s Affairs Women and Human Rights, Khadijo Mohamed Diiriye has officially handed over the office to Sahro Mohamed Ali Samatar, a daughter of a Somali politician and former Lieutenant General.
Sahro Mohamed speaking at the ceremony has commended the former minister for the unforgettable role she has played during the time she was in the office.
The handing over ceremonies of the remaining ministries are to be concluded in the course of less than a week.
