Galmudug forces clash with Al-Shabaab in Mudug region

GOOBJOOG NEWS|GALMUDUG: Fighting broke out Monday morning between Galmudug security forces and the militant group but there were no immediate reports on casualties.

Sources said the two sides exchanged heavy fire in Wisil locality of Mudug region. Locals said Al-Shabaab attacked a base operated by the darwish paramilitary unity leading to heavy exchange of artillery for several hours in the morning.
