Galmudug Parliament set to elect a new parliament speaker on Friday

Galmudug Parliamentary Committee heard the speeches of candidates who will run for the second Galmudug Parliament speaker on Thursday morning and scheduled to elect a new speaker and his two deputies on Friday.

The contesting candidates namely, Mohamed Nur Gacal, Abdinassir Adan Osman and Abdullahi Ahmed Alasow who fulfilled the requirements were cleared by the interim house election committee tasked to oversee the exercise tomorrow.

As a long-awaited Presidential election ahead, new Galmudud state parliament house will be going to elect new Galmudud president.
