Galmudug to register candidates for last two senate seats today

GOOBJOOG NEWS|DHUSAMAREB: The Galmudug election commission will today, Thursday begin the registration of the remaining Galmudug Upper House candidates in Dhusamareb.

Four candidates are set to be registered for the remaining two seats in the Upper House of the Galmudug Administration. Abdi Hassan Awale Qaybdiid, who has been a senator for the past four years with be battling it out with Awil Nur Ali.

Abdi Osman Hared and Mahad Aden Guled are set to contest for the second seat.

The state parliament will vote for the two seats on Saturday marking the end of the electoral exercise which began on July 29..
