Government sets up drug verification center

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Government of Somalia Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has inaugurated the Center for Somali Medical Warehouse which serve as a drugs verification center.

Prime Minister Hamze stressed the importance of the center saying now the Somali people can have verified drugs which are safe for consumption urging the health and social care ministry to open more branches in member states.

He also called on people occupying government premises, especially those belonging to the Ministry of Health to vacate to provide space for more centers to be opened.

PM Hamza was accompanied by the Minister of Health and Social Care and officials from the Government and International Partners who witnessed the opening of the National Medical Warehouse.
