Hir-Shabelle President inaugurated in colorful ceremony

Federal, regional States, International partners, IGAD and African Union delegates have participated the inauguration ceremony of newest Federal state president Ali Abdullahi  Osoble in Jowhar.

Federal President Hassan Sheikh Mahomoud , Galmudug State President Abdikarim Gulled, Southwest state president Sharif Sheikh Adan ,and the  UN’s special envoy to Somali Michel Keating were among participants of the ceremony.

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud has congratulated the president and asked him to form an inclusive government that represents all the people in the state. He also, praised the process of state formations, saying that no one can claim the success exclusively   “We have all succeeded, our inauguration come through collective effort, no one can claim the success” said the president.

Ali Abdullahi Osoble- Hir-Shabelle president thanked all the guests and said he will form an inclusive government for the state as well as the Federal upper house senators “We will begin by electing the senators who will represent the state to federal government and then the MP’s of the Lower House as soon as possible” Said the state president Ali Abdullahi Osoble.
Meanwhile,Hawadle clan traditional chief Ugas Hassan Ugas khalif snubbed the inauguration  ceremony  saying he has nothing to do with Hir-Shabelle state and its leadership.

The Ugas who spoke in a press conference in Beledwene refuted early reports, which said that he  accepted to attend the inauguration ceremony “ I never said I endorse the outcome of Jowhar conference, Somalis and the world should know that I have nothing to do with this political  state” said the Ugas.
