Kenya Suspends Flights to Mogadishu

Tens of Somali citizens including high ranking officials are stranded at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi after Kenyan aviation authority reportedly suspended flights to Mogadishu.
Airline operators to Somalia has told media houses that they received notification that their services has been suspended over license renewal issues and would resume flights when their licenses is renewed.
Earlier reports that Kenya’s decision is motivated by security issues at a time when US president Barack Obama is due to Kenya were not substantiated.
