Mogadishu Police Probe Death of Civil Aviation Employee, Six Arrested

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Police in Mogadnishu have launched a probe following the discovery of the body of a Somali Civil Aviation Authority employee at his residence in the El Qaalow neighborhood of Wadajir district.

Police said they received information about the discovery of 32-year-old Abdinasir Muse Abdirahman’s body found with marks consistent with strangulation, as per statements from some of his relatives.

However, Somali security agencies are yet to provide official details regarding the cause of death.

The Police have so far arrested six suspects believed to be connected to the murder and collected evidence from the scene which is “being analyzed as part of the ongoing investigation.

The police at the same time are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward to aid in the pursuit of justice for Abdinasir Muse Abdirahman and his family.
