PM Barre Launches the Start of the Form 4 Final Examinations

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: Prime Minister Hamza Barre today launched the start of the national form four exams which will see about 40,000 students sit for the test.

The Prime Minister urged the candidates to do their best and called on the eamination officials to ensre the exercise goes on smoothly. He also urged security personnel to reinforce the security and safety within all the exam centres.

According to the Ministry of Education, more than 37,038 students are sitting for the final examinations to be conducted in South West, Jubaland, HirShabelle, Galmudug and Khatumo.

The first standardised government-administered exam cycle started in 2015 with about 7,000 students taking part. That number has since grown to close to 40,000.
