PM Barre Lays Foundations Stone for Ultramodern Judiciary Headquarters

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Prime Minister Hamze Barre has this morning laid the foundation stone for the construction of an ultramodern judiciary headquarters in Mogadishu.

The Prime Minister said the construction of the office blocks for the judiciary will be critical in enhancing service delivery and access to justice in the country.

“The establishment of this facility is a vital step in alleviating the longstanding issues within Somalia’s justice system, such as inadequate infrastructure. It signifies the beginning of a comprehensive modernization effort aimed at improving justice delivery for all Somalis,” the Prime Minister said.

Among those present at the event were the Chief Justice, the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, and the Attorney General, among other officials in the justice sector.
