PM Khaire pledges development support for Bakool region

Prime Minister Ali Khaire met yesterday held talks with administrators of Bakol region and traditional elders in Hudur.

The leaders presented their concerns to the PM and called on him to expedite development projects in the region.

The PM on his part informed the leaders that his administration will work with the state government to implement the strategic development plan for Bakool region. The PM noted he had been briefed by South West president Abdiaziz Lafta Gareen on the development areas which require urgent attention such as health, education and security.

The meeting between the prime minister, traditional elders and administrators was also attended by government ministers and some of the South West state leaders.
