PM Roble hails FEIT on certification of newly elected MPs

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: Prime Minister Roble has issued a statement lauding the Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT) on the certification of newly elected members of the 11th bi-cameral parliament.

“Congratulations to the Federal Electoral Commission (FEIT) and its chairman, Muse Guelleh Yusuf, who today began issuing certificates to the elected members of the 11th parliament of the country,” said Prime Minister Roble.

Roble also congratulated the first members of parliament who received their certificates this morning, adding that he was optimistic that the certification and swearing in process would be concluded without a hitch and at the right time.

“I congratulate the first parliamentarians who received their certificates today, and I hope that the process of certifying and swearing in the parliamentarians will be completed before the deadline,” said Prime Minister Roble.

The Federal Elections Implementation Team has on Saturday begun issuing certificates to the newly elected members of the 11th House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, with almost 20 MPs so far, having received their certificates.
