PM Roble inspects polls security station in Dhusamareb, urges election speed-up

GOOBJOOG NEWS|DHUSAMAREB: Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble in his trip to Dhusamareb, the capital of Galmudug, carried out an inspection of the Galmudug Electoral Commission headquarters and the Electoral Security Center as the state gears for the Lower House election set to kick off soon.

Prime Minister Roble, while exercising his oversight role in the country’s elections, heard reports from the Galmudug Electoral and Security Commissions on issues related to elections.

The Prime Minister expressed the Government’s will in carrying out a free, fair and transparent electoral process. Roble also called on the Galmudug Electoral Commission to act impartially while serving candidates running for seats in Galmudug.

Roble also held talks with electoral stakeholders and community leaders in Dhusamareb. He is expected to head to Galkaayo today which is one of the two polling centres fro Galmudug state.
