PM Roble resolves differences between Abdi Hashi and Khadar Gulaid
GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: Somalia’s Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble, today met in his office with Upper House Speaker Abdi Hashi Abdullahi and Deputy Prime Minister Khadar Gulaid to resolve the tiff between the two Somaliland leaders.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said Roble had resolved the differences between Mahdi Guled and Abdi Hashi, and that they had agreed to work with the Prime Minister to see to completion the Somaliland parliamentary elections.
The current turn of events unfolded after politicians from Somaliland accused the PM of interfering with the election of Somaliland seats, prompting Hashi to call for suspension of the elections.
Somalia’s Deputy PM Khadar Gulaid, was forced to apologize to the PM for the insulting remarks made by the Upper House speaker Abdi Hashi.
