President Mohamud Calls for National Unity, Support for Troops

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Government of Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud joined thousands of worshippers at Isbahaysiga Mosque in Mogadishu where he called for national unity and renewed backing for the country’s security forces.

Extending his Eid greetings to Muslims worldwide, President Mohamud emphasized the holiday’s role in strengthening solidarity and compassion among communities.

“As we celebrate this blessed occasion, let us uphold the spirit of Ramadan, standing by our defenders, assisting the vulnerable, and working together for Somalia’s future,” he said.

The president also honored the Somali National Armed Forces, commending their dedication to protecting the nation’s sovereignty.

He called on citizens to continue praying for lasting peace and stability across the country.
