President Mohamud Condemns Terrorist Attack in Moscow

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Republic of Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has condemned the terrorist attack that killed at least 60 people and injured several others at a Moscow concert hall Friday.

In an official government statement, President Mohamud expressed his deepest condolences to the victims, their families, and all those affected by the attack.

President Mohamud further extended his heartfelt sympathies to President Vladimir Putin and the Russian people during this time of sorrow.

The president said that the Federal Government of Somalia stands in solidarity with the Russian people at this difficult time and rejects all forms of violence and terrorism, the statement added.

Gunmen, linked to the ISIS terror group opened fire at concertgoers on Friday, killing at least 60 people and injuring 145 others.
