President Mohamud says Eritrea Supports Somalia’s Sovereignty

GOOBJOOG NEWS | ASMARA: Federal Republic of Somalia president Hassan Sheikh MOhamud has stated that Eritrea has always supported Somalia’s territorial integrity, and expressed his gratitude to the Eritrean people.   

Speaking during an interview with Eritrean Television, the president said Eritrea has specifically been at the forefront in supporting the war against Al-shabaab and has also added its voice to condemn the aggressive acts by Ethiopia which seeks to encroach on Somalia’s territory.

He spoke after a meeting with his counterpart Isaias Afwerki in Asmara where they discussed a host of issues including security and other regional issues.
