Puntland Martial Court Acquits Soldiers

Seventeen soldiers accused of discipline related misconduct has been set free by Puntland military court. The judge of the court colonel Abdifitah Haji Adan gave the soldiers non guilty verdict in port city of Bosaso.
The judge also asked the court prosecutor to bring suspect Alshabab members and those of soldiers with the capital crimes before court.
The verdict comes in the light of ongoing effort to reconcile between Puntland Government and rebelled police commander who is now in standoff with the army at a village near capital of the state Garowe.
