Regional Lawmaker laid to rest in Mogadishu

 

 

 

The body of the killed Puntland’s lawmaker Adan Haji Hussein was buried at Madina hospital in the capital Mogadishu.
The funeral was attended by ministers, lawmakers and other federal government officials.
All the people who attended the funeral sent condolence to the relatives of the late MP and asked the security agencies to carry proper investigations on the murder of the MP and bring to justice the perpetrators.
It was on Saturday when unidentified gunmen in a car shot and killed Hussein in drive-by shooting on his way Madina Hospital.
The assailants who were trailing the MP opened fire at his car and immediately escaped from the scene of the crime.
The deseeded brought his wife to hospital in the capital Mogadishu but unfortunately he lost his life in an attempt to seek further treatment for his wife.
Al-Shabab claimed the killing responsibility of the regional lawmaker of Puntland State.
Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, al Shabaab’s spokesman for military affairs, said it carried out the attack. “We shall continue killing the enemies,” he told Reuters.
