Road accident in Jowhar kills one person

At least one person died and others sustained injuries following road accident in Jowhar district, the headquarters of Middle Shabelle region.

The accident occurred after a lorry collided with on the main bridge connecting the villages of horsed and Kulmis in the district.

The health officials of intersos hospital in the district stated that the wounded people admitted to the hospital are gradually recovering.

On other hand a small child, seven month old died and two others, a mother and her child wounded after their house in Jowhar collapsed. They were immediately rushed to hospital for treatment.
