Security forces launch operations in Dhusamareb

Galmudug state security forces and the federal government of Somalia have begun operations in Dhusamareb town last night, the administrative capital of Galmudug.

Police and security forces jointly conducted the operation, and security officials said it was a guarantee of security in the city.

Also during the operation, the Army was stopping vehicles in the streets where they were stripping off the worn glasses.

Reports from the town of Dhusamareb, the capital of Galmudug, says that the army was conducting various searches people travelling on different types of vehicles.

The administration of Dhusamareb has said that security operations will continue in the city and will cooperate with all security agencies.

The city of Dhusamareb has been banned from carrying weapons in the city.
