Security is improving on the Main Road Linking Mogadishu to Baidao

Motorists are reporting major security improvements on the main road linking Mogadishu to Baidoa after years of insecurity and road blocks.

They said they are now enjoying a smooth ride on the road with no major insecurity incidents, this came when the government forces there removed roadblocks on the road.

Even ministers from the newly formed South West State commended the security improvements when they travelled on the road.

Militias with government fatigue used to mount roadblocks on the road, where they illegally taxed the drivers and sometimes robbed the passengers.
