Security forces launch operations in Jowhar

The security force in Jowhar district  launched  massive security operations to ensure the security of the town.

Jowhar district police commander Mohamed Ali Anjeh who gave exclusive interview to Goobjoog FM during the operations said that the police force in collaboration with the local people in the town carried out operations to improve security in the city, he said many suspects  have been arrested and would be arraigned in court shortly.

The commander also called on local people to work hand in hand with the police to restore security.

Jowhar, 90km north of the capital, Mogadishu, commands access to Somalia’s biggest road linking the southern and central regions of the country. This makes Jowhar’s security to be an important point of the central and southern regions.
