SNA commanders in Jalalaqsi claim victory over clashes with Al-Shabab

Somali military commanders in Jalaqsi town claimed victory over clashes with Al-Shabab fighters on the outskirts of the town.
The commander of Somali National Army Col. Omar Hassan Omar has told Goobjoog that they defeated Alshabab fighters in the area after heavy fighting.
“We killed seven Al-Shabab fighters and 15 others sustain injuries” Omar said.
He added that the battle embarked after Al-shabab fighter attacked the town.
Al-Shabab did not comment on the claims made Somali military.
There have been consistent skirmishes between SNA and Alshabab in many towns of Hiran region.
