Social media celebrity Bilal Bulshawi shot and injured by gunmen in Mogadishu

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Social media celebrity, Bilal Bulshawi famously known as “TikTok president” was shot and injured by armed men on Friday near Banadir junction in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.

According to Bilal’s brother, two men armed with pistols entered a restaurant at Banadir intersection where Bilal and his friend were sitted and fired directly at him. His friend was also injured in the attack. The gunmen escaped from the scene.

Bilal, who is also known for his philanthropic activities, is currently said to be in a stable condition, according to doctors and his family.
