SoDMA Receives Relief Aid from UAE Government
GOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: The Somali National Disaster Agency (SoDMA) has received a donation of relief aid from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government at Adan Adde Airport in Mogadishu.
SoDMA Deputy Commissioner Ahmed A. Adann alongside other agency directors received the donation from the UAE officials at the Embassy in Mogadishu.
The officials said the shipment, aimed at supporting vulnerable populations, will soon be distributed to those in need across the country and also to ensure that vulnerable individuals can observe the holy month of Ramadan with dignity and access to essential supplies.
As Ramadan approaches, this timely assistance will alleviate the hardships faced by underprivileged members of the community, allowing them to participate in the sacred observance with peace of mind.
