NISA Chief Praises Security Forces’ Sacrifice During Ramadan

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) director Mahad Mohamed Salad, has underscored the critical role of Somalia’s security forces in safeguarding national stability, praising their sacrifice and resilience during the holy month of Ramadan.

Speaking at an iftar gathering with troops in Dhanaane, in the Lower Shabelle, Mahad highlighted the unwavering commitment of the armed forces, noting that their continuous operations, despite fasting, have ensured security in the capital Mogadishu and surrounding areas.

He stressed that the vigilance of the forces has allowed citizens to practice their religious obligations in peace, describing the military and security services as the backbone of Somalia’s sovereignty and national dignity.

The NISA chief called for sustained public support for the armed forces, emphasizing that strengthening security and stability depends on both institutional capacity and community backing.
