Somali Boundaries and Federalization Commission elects new chairman

Somali boundaries and Federalization commission has elected today Khalif Abdikarim Mohamed as the chairperson of the commission.

The 52, former school teacher and parliamentarian would now be in charge of highly sensitive commission that is assigned to decide borderlines of newly formed and Soon-to-be-formed federal States of Somalia.

The commission has also elected Muse Waxgarad the vice chairman of the commission.

Puntland State of Somalia has officially denounced the commission and said any decision by the commission won’t bind Puntland state.
