Somali Cabinet Approves Key Amendments to the Penal Code

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: The Somali Cabinet Thursday approved major amendments to the penal code during their weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre in Mogadishu.

During the sitting, the Cabinet also ratified the National Policy on the Establishment of a Higher Institute for Legal Training and Development, marking a significant step towards modernizing Somalia’s legal framework.
