Somali Women’s Minister Visits Wounded Soldiers, Delivers Aid

GOOBJOOG NEWS| MOGADISHU: Federal Government of Somalia’s Women, Amb. Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi, visited wounded Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers receiving treatment at the SNA Hospital in Mogadishu, providing vital aid and moral support.
During her visit, Minister Al-Makhzoumi commended the soldiers for their bravery and sacrifice in defending the nation. She expressed deep gratitude for their commitment and wished them a swift recovery, emphasizing that they deserve the highest level of care and support.
The visit was part of the Somali Women’s Week campaign, an initiative led by the Ministry of Women to provide assistance to various community groups. The minister was accompanied by Director-General Mohamed Bashir Omar and Jawaahir Baarqab, Chairperson of the Banadir Women’s Association, who spearheads the campaign.
This initiative highlights the government’s continued commitment to honoring and supporting its wounded soldiers, recognizing their sacrifices in securing Somalia’s peace and stability.
