Somalia: cabinet in an emergency meeting on disarmament

The cabinet ministers of federal government of Somalia are in an extra-ordinary emergency meeting in Mogadishu.
The meeting chaired by Prime minister Abdiweli Ahmed Mohamed is attended by Somali president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the heads of Somali Police and security intelligence.
The main agendas of the meeting is focusing on security and disarmament operations going on in Mogadishu.
The cabinet ministers recently passed a bill that bans possession of illegal weapons and ammunitions.
This comes a time when forces seize 500 guns in a raid to Ahmed Dai’s house, the former DC of Wadajir district in Banadir region.
