Somalia, Denmark Ink Debt Relief Agreement

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: The Federal Government of Somalia has entered a debt relief agreement with Denmark following the successful Paris Club negotiations in March this year.
The deal was signed in Mogadishu by Somalia’s Finance minister Bihi Iman Egeh with the Ambassador of Denmark to Somalia, Amb. Steen Sonne Aderson.
Bihi said the agreement reflects the fruits of Somalia’s national reform program adding that the debt relief achievements are being realized.
He thanked Denmark for the deal saying it is a valuable partner in Somalia’s sustainable development.
