Somalia, Ethiopia sign police security agreement

GOOBJOOG NEWS|ADDIS ABABA: Somalia and Ethiopia have signed a security partnership agreement that will see the two countries partner in the training of police forces.

Somali Police Commissioner General Abdi Hassan Hijar signed the deal on Friday with his Ethiopian counterpart General Damelesh Garbamichel in Addis Ababa.

The two security chiefs signed the agreement on the sidelines of the 24th round of the EAPCCO General Conference which brought together police heads from 14 African countries.
